Child Visitation

Florida refers to custody arrangements and visitation as "time-sharing."  Parents must establish their respective responsibilities as it pertains to the raising of their child/ren, including a time-sharing schedule that specifies when the child/ren will spend time with each parent.  In the event that the parents cannot agree, the court will establish a Parenting Plan in accordance with the child/ren's best interest by evaluating factors that affect the welfare and interests of the child/ren and the specific family situation.  Section 61.13, Florida Statutes.
